This spring Flynn turns 13 and Willie, 9
June 1: Nope. After checking it out for a few days, the starling pair decided to nest elsewhere.
The pond appears to have recovered from the mud flood. There are many todpoles but I don't know whose. The wood frogs definitely laid many eggs but I don't know about the green frogs and there were no toads this year, however I am seeing more than the average number of baby toads around the property. Last year there was a plethora of baby toads.

July 18: New kitty sisters Luna and Cleo had just had their first litters, 6 kittens between them. When I took them for their spay on the 23rd, the Vet reported that Cleo was already pregnant but not developed enough to prevent the spay. They are very friendly and accustomed to lots of handling.

Luna disappeared sometime in the night of August 29th, six weeks exactly since the day I adopted her.
So now Cleo is Luna.
